    The plate rolling process of a plate rolling machine involves continuous three-point bending of plates. Depending on the rolling temperature, it can be divided into cold rolling, hot rolling and warm rolling. It is a mechanical equipment mainly used to bend metal plates of a certain thickness into cylindrical, arc-shaped, rectangular and other shapes with fixed or variable curvatures, and is one of the essential mechanical equipment in industries including metallurgy, building materials, petroleum, chemical engineering, water conservancy and electric power, bridge construction, military industry, coal, mining, shipbuilding, boiler manufacturing, aviation, and power transmission and transformation equipment manufacturing.
    The machine adopts a three-roll symmetrical structure. The top roll moves vertically up and down at the symmetrical central position of the two bottom rolls, with its lifting motion driven by a lead screw, nut and worm drive system. The output gear of the reducer meshes with the gears of the bottom rolls to drive the two bottom rolls to rotate synchronously, supplying torque for plate rolling. The machine features an integrated structure; both the working section and main transmission section are mounted on a rigid welded base, facilitating machine installation and commissioning.

    三、Main structure
    The machine adopts a three-roll symmetrical structure. The upper roll performs vertical lifting movement at the symmetrical central position of the two lower rolls, with its lifting motion driven by a lead screw, nut and worm gear transmission mechanism. The output gear of the reducer meshes with the gears of the lower rolls to drive the two lower rolls to rotate synchronously, providing torque for plate rolling. The machine is of an integral structure; both the working section and the main transmission section are mounted on a rigid welded base, facilitating the installation and commissioning of the equipment.

    3.1 Working Section

    The working section consists of the top roll assembly, bottom roll assembly, top roll screwdown device, balancing device, tilting section, housing and base, etc.

    3.1.1 Top Roll Assembly

    The top roll assembly is composed of the top roll, chock, SF-2 composite bearing and so on.

    (1) Material and processing method of the top roller

    (2) All top work rolls are made of high-strength roll steel and processed through multiple procedures including precision lathe machining (Note: The machining procedures of rollers vary according to different user requirements). This strictly ensures high surface contact strength of the work rolls, leaving no indentations on roller surfaces during steel plate rolling and meeting the requirements of long-term steel plate rolling. Medium-frequency quenching is performed on the surface of the finely turned top roller, with hardness ranging from HRC45 to HRC55.

    (3) Vertical movement mode of the top roller

    The lifting movement of the top roller is realized via screw rod, nut and worm drive.

    3.1.2 Lower Roller Assembly

    (1) Material and processing method of the lower roller

    The lower roller assembly consists of lower rollers, lower roller input gears, SF-2 composite bearings and other components.

    All lower work rolls are made of high-strength roll steel and processed through multiple procedures including precision lathe machining (Note: The machining procedures of rollers vary according to different user requirements). This strictly ensures high surface contact strength of the work rolls, leaving no indentations on roller surfaces during steel plate rolling and meeting the requirements of long-term steel plate rolling. Medium-frequency quenching is performed on the surface of the finely turned top roller, with hardness ranging from HRC45 to HRC55.

    (2) Rotational movement of the lower rollers

    The two lower rollers rotate in opposite directions when the output gear of the reducer driven by the motor meshes with the lower roller gears, providing torque for plate rolling.

    3.1.3 Top Screw-down Device

    The top roller screw-down device is composed of a motor, a reducer, a worm and worm gear mechanism, a screw rod nut lifting mechanism and other parts.

    The balancing device consists of supports, screw rods, adjusting nuts and other components.
